Check-In: 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. (Arrangements should be made for later arrivals)

Check- Out: 11:00 a.m.

Payment: We accept cash, approved personal checks, MasterCard, or Visa.

Reservations: All reservations are made on a guaranteed basis. At booking we request payment in full for 1 day stay. 50% of payment is requested for a stay of two or more nights. Balance is due upon check-in. Deposit is refunded if reservation is cancelled 7 days in advance of check-in date.

Additional Guests: The rooms are priced for double occupancy. There is no reduction for single occupancy. Additional people in room are charged $15.00 per night. No charge for children under 24 months.

Cancellation: A refund credit will be issued if cancellation is received at least 7 days in advance. Deposit is forfeited if under 7 days. Deposits made with a Credit Card may be subject to a $15.00 reversal transaction fee. Often deposit refunds can be applied to alternative reservation dates. If canceling with shorter notice, no deposit penalty will apply is room is re-sold

Gift Certificates: Gift certificates are valid for one year from the date of purchase and are by reservation only.

Smoking: We are a NON-SMOKING establishment, however, there are designated areas where smoking is permitted.

Pets: We are sorry but we cannot accommodate pets at the Presque Isle Lodge, however pet boarding is available in nearby Alpena.

Common Areas: You are welcome to use the dining room, lounge, party room, porch and TV room. Please feel free to browse about the Lodge and grounds and enjoy the Habitant furniture, pictures, books and collectibles. Lights will be left on in the hallways, front door and parking areas.

Alcohol: Consumption of alcohol is permitted (bring your own).

Breakfast: All rates include a full hearty breakfast served family style in our historic dining room until 9:30 a.m. This is the cook’s choice. Please inform the Presque Isle Lodge of allergies or diet restrictions so that we may better accommodate your special dietary needs. Guests may join you for breakfast for an additional fee.

Children: They are appreciated and loved at the Presque Isle Lodge; however, adult supervision is appreciated. No childcare is provided. Equipment for very young children such as baby beds etc. is not provided.

Parking: Ample parking including boats is provided in the rear of the Lodge. Very limited parking in the front of the Lodge.

Phone: Guests may use the Lodge phone for credit card/collect calls. A pay phone is located next door at the Birch Hill Store. Emergency numbers are posted at the front desk and in the kitchen.

Lake Activities: The Presque Isle Lodge has Grand Lake Access with dock and deck for the use of our guests. The Presque Isle Lodge also has access to Lotus Pond. Boat rental is available in the area. A canoe is available for use by our guests.
