A 17 acre Island jewel surrounded by the Thunder Bay River which winds through 500 acres of water, low islands and waterfowl. Several paths lead joggers, walkers, photographers, fishermen, nature lovers through varied eco systems including sand dunes, meadows, woodlands, gentle slopes, marsh areas. Has viewing platform (handicapped accessible).
This statue of George Washington's head is located on M-68 near Onaway,
Michigan. It was constructed in 1998 by Moran Iron Works utilizing 800 man
hours. The 11-foot wide, 12-foot high structure weighs 6000 pounds. 4000
pounds of 1/8 inch mild steel and 2000 pounds of hair strands.
Laser Team Challenge is located in Alpena in beautiful North Eastern Michigan.
We provide an indoor and outdoor team building exercises lasting from two
hours to up to six hours for 10 to 60 people at a time. Play at the old
National Guard Armory, in downtown Alpena. The 90 year old building has
50,000 square feet of floor space on three levels. The basement has a maze
of office space, the second floor has an open area with a variety of portable
barriers and the third floor has rooms and large balcony overlooking the
basketball court. The building has multiple stairwells accessing all the
