The 134 acre Besser Natural Area contains a stand of mature, virgin red and white pine trees. Aside from their use by humans, pinecones serve a specific purpose for the trees producing them. This room will make you want to stroll through an evergreen forest to discover its mysteries.

One double-bed; dresser; fan; rocker; blanket rack; free WiFi; and sitting bench at the foot of the bed. This room is priced for double occupancy. An air mattress can be added to this room for $15.00 per night. This is a front-side room looking out at Grand Lake. The bathrooms are across the hall.
Built in 1920 by Newell Avery Eddy Jr., the Presque Isle Lodge is a National Registered historical landmark. The Lodge is located midway between Alpena and Rogers City on Michigan’s “Sunrise Side”.
