The Loon Room with its double log bunk bed and pull out single bed couch is ideal for the family needing additional space to spread out. The loon décor is appropriate for the area. In “A 1,000-Mile Great Lakes Walk,” the author Loreen Niewenhuis described part of her stay at the Lodge with this sentence, “In the morning, I awakened to loons calling each other on Grand Lake.” Take the loon’s advice and spend time at the lake and enjoy a good swim.
